Hi

Does anyone know any cheap places to eat in Central? All the places in Lan Kwai Fong and Soho are really pricey and I don't really like eating at street cafes. Any advice please?

welcome to hong kong hknewbie! you will find that central is a bit more pricey for everything, not just food. i don't know of many cheap eats in the heart of central but i would suggest taking short walk towards sheung wan, there is some good, cheaper food there

i'd say stick to the local chains like maxims or cafe de coral, these and a few other restaurants are located across from the IFC next to the central mtr
