The Hong Kong tram dates back to 1904. Double-decker trams, known locally as ding-dings due to the ringing sound heard when drivers warn pedestrians of an approaching tram, run along the northern side of Hong Kong Island between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan.
The Hong Kong tram is only $2 for each trip and is great for sightseeing or for a quick jump to a neighboring area.
For more information and history on the Hong Kong tram visit the Hong Kong Tramways website.
