Kowloon Peninsula

Living

In the old days, Hong Kong International Airport was located in Kowloon Bay and the construction of residential units was limited by height restrictions.

With the airport being moved to Lantau Island, Kowloon Peninsula developers have been graced with the freedom to explore real estate options other than the low-rise residences that can be seen lining the streets of Kowloon Tong.

A number of high-rise complexes have been completed and more are in the works.  Two notable locations are Kowloon Station and Olympic Station.

New developments in these areas are top-notch both in quality and convenience, with the airport and Hong Kong Island only a short distance away by train.  Older, smaller residential units generally dominate other areas of the peninsula, such as Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) and Mong Kok.

Complete with night markets, restaurants, malls, and an exciting nightlife, these areas are the entertainment districts of the peninsula.  A good amount of international schools are also spread throughout most of the peninsula.
